In the Mud with Public Sediment

Join the Public Sediment team for a series of events next week in the Bay Area! The first, on February 21st, will be a public forum At UC Davis’ Social Sciences and Humanities building, where members of the community are invited to watch a presentation on the project and participate in a discussion. Lunch will be served. Later that evening, Gena and others from the Public Sediment team will be leading a panel discussion on the broader themes of resilience and climate change. Then on February 24th, the team will be hosting a Creek Crawl at Alameda Creek near Niles Canyon, where local experts will lead a walking tour along the creek and talk about the role of sediment, people and fish.
