On Wednesday and Friday this week, the SCAPE team participated in Earth Week events at Conference House Park on Staten Island. The event, co-hosted by SCAPE, The Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery, The Billion Oyster Project, and NYC Parks, invited students from Staten Island schools to participate in a beach clean-up and educational activities including seining, shoreline monitoring and the discovery of the underwater habitat around the Living Breakwaters project.
